PRESS RELEASE
MHC Healthcare Dental Operations not affiliated with Defunct Clinic
Pima County Health Department released a statement today about potential risk of exposure of blood borne infection due to the faulty installation of equipment at a clinic located at 3662 West Ina Road.
MHC Healthcare has received inquiries from patients due to the confusion caused by the article referencing a “Marana Dental Clinic.” MHC Healthcare can assure the community and MHC Healthcare patients that the concern is not related to any MHC Healthcare or Marana Health Center operations.
Marana Health Center has strict controls established to test equipment, assure inflectional control and maintain the highest standards of safety for patients of medical, dental and behavioral health operations at all of our 15 locations. Many of the routine practices which assure infection control and patient safety are daily and monthly protocols to reduce risk and promote safe working conditions for both patients and employees.
MHC Healthcare operates two Dental Clinics. The main site is located in Marana at the 13395 N. Marana Main Street. The second location opened in February 2012 and is located at the Ellie Towne Health Center located at 1670 W. Ruthrauff Rd.
All MHC Healthcare sites welcome individuals seeking assistance from our Outreach staff who are skilled in navigating requirements for the State AHCCCS program or MHC Sliding Fee scale application process.
All health plans are welcomed. No Insurance? No problem ~MHC is here to help.
MHC Healthcare is a partner with The Pima County Health Department and supports the medical and dental needs of the Tucson, Marana and Catalina Communities.
Further information regarding MHC Healthcare services and opportunities can be found on our web site at www.mhchealthcare.org. Additional information on the Ellie Towne Community Center can be located at www.pima.gov/nrpr/centers/ellie_fw/index.htm.
