Tour Information--A Surprising Marana 

Offered by the Marana Heritage Conservancy Conducted by John Scheuring, Naturalist

Our adventure will begin at the lime kiln along Silverbell, check out the bat colony at Ina Rd. and the Santa Cruz, continue to the Borquez Ranch site, Hohokam, Los Morteros, Butterfield, and Anza camp sites.  Learn about the Eisenhower, "Air Force One", farming in Marana, hot air ballooning, the Prisoner of War Camp, UA Experimental Farm, Guayule, and MUCH MORE.

Knowledgeable commentary as we traverse the many surprising historical sites within the Marana area.
