Country Christmas 2011

Published on: December 19, 2011

We would like to take the opportunity to thank all the special people it took to pull off our Country Christmas last Saturday at MHC Main.

The Copper Café is officially open and the celebration was fun for all big and small.  We now have the java flowing, Mega cinnamon rolls for purchase and tasty treats to try for your breakfast and lunch time breaks.

In the attached montage you will see how all the fun played out with Santa Tim, our volunteer Santa from Picture Rocks Fire Department, who was a hit with the kids handing out toys to the little ones and sharing the holiday joy!  The music from the Greg Spivey band was great!

In the Community Room we hosted a tasty country BBQ with all the fixins….many of our patrons commented that the vittles were scrumptious!!  Great job to our Copper Café Crew for dishing up the grub.

We had great weather, helpful volunteers, vendors who truly set the stage for the event.  Thanks for coming out to the country to spend your Saturday with us.

A huge thanks to Peggy Holt Wagner from Integrative Touch who brought out her whole family, 4-legged and the 2-legged all dressed in their holiday gear…the family looked amazing and really set the stage for the Country Christmas.  The miniature horse named Tuffy along with her two pals, Pilot Labrador and Scout the cattle dog-both dressed in their Santa gear…so cute!.  We will always remember Tuffy and her team running around during the song, Jingle Bells…what a hoot!  Great job ladies.

The ribbon cutting went well and we are open for business.  So tell a friend, and share the news…Copper Café is open for you to come and have a Mocha, a roll, a wrap and or a salad.  We will greet you and the door and serve it up a special for you.

Hope to see you soon,

Happy Holidays!!!
