Coordination of Care

As your primary care source, your medical care giver will take steps to connect you with the services you require.  Coordination with the medical specialists who practice in the Tucson and Marana areas is one of the many services offered by MHC Healthcare.  Our medical providers and staff collaborate to ensure our patients receive the appropriate referrals for medical tests, specialized care and appropriate services to evaluate, diagnose and treat you.

At the Main Clinic, many of the respected medical specialists in the areas of Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Ophthalmology, Oncology and Orthopedic medicine host clinics here to see patients in their local community.  The specialists who partner with MHC understand the need to bring services to the outlying areas of the community to ensure patents have greater access to their specialty healthcare.

Your doctor or advanced practitioner will discuss the need to see a specialist or have a specialized radiological exam.  In the event you are referred for evaluation and/or treatment, your provider will submit an order for the referral and a member of our support staff will process the documentation needed for you to be seen by the doctor.  If a pre-authorization is required by your insurance company, our clinic staff will submit the request and keep you informed as to the processing time and when you re approved for your visit.
