MHC is building a world class primary health care system, that is committed to caring for special populations, and that is focused on improving health outcomes for our patients as well as building healthy communities.

MHC provides comprehensive primary care services in medicine, dentistry, and behavioral health. MHC is available to all, but has a special commitment to the uninsured and underinsured.  MHC is the health care home that works to keep our patients—and our communities—healthy. We incorporate prevention and health promotion, treatment of illness, and management of chronic disease—often all during the same visit. But MHC goes beyond the traditional health services to bring care wherever you are, using innovative service delivery models and state of the art technology.

MHC is at the cutting edge of technology, improving the lives of our patients.  We were one of the first practices in the country to move to an entirely electronic health record, making our patient interactions faster and more accurate.  This transition has significantly improved the quality, safety, and timeliness of care. MHC is now moving to bring the benefits of the “HIE” or Health Information Exchange to its patients.

We live in a diverse society of many cultures and languages. A fundamental aspect of patient safety and respect for patient rights is the provision of health care in the preferred language of the patient.  Our providers have access to interpreters for 170 languages—reflecting the global connections of our communities.
