Pima Community Access Program (PCAP)
Pima Community Access Program (PCAP) is a not-for-profit organization that provides access to professional health care at discounted prices that the uninsured can afford. Sliding Fee Scale
A sliding fee schedule (SFS) is used by providers offering discounted fees for services to persons without health insurance. The SFS determines, based on gross family income, the percentage or portion of billed charges that the uninsured client will be responsible for.
Marana Health Center Sliding Fee Scale Program Guidelines
- Be without health insurance coverage
- Have a gross annual FAMILY income no greater than two hundred percent of the Federal Poverty Level guidelines
- Must provide documentation of income and residency prior to next clinic visit
- Sliding Fee Scale services shall not be provided indefinitely to persons who appear to qualify for AHCCCS/KidsCare services.
- Any person who is referred to AHCCCS or KidsCare but refuses to seek AHCCCS or KidsCare determination or fails to complete the application process shall not be served with the Sliding Fee Scale Program.
